Words about My Poetry
I come from a family of writers. My father was a sportswriter and editor of a national sports magazine. And we all know that writing about sports in our modern-day is almost like mythical writing to inspire us about our gladiators! My mother wrote wonderful rhythming poems about anything you can name.... mostly an occasion or a song ditty. You could give her a series of words and she could come up with something charming. That is a skill. And my brother writes pieces that are steeped in the situations we find ourselves in our world with great passion. And my sister, wrote imaginary stories with comical, heroic characters that she viewed as being a movie or a play.
My family had a gift of gab and then could write it down. An ability to use words to relay pictures and emotions so that you were right there with them. They all might have been Druid Bards in past lives as the could pen stories to engage you in their worlds. Our family was like that, you see.
That leads to me......I did not bloom until later in this life on my path that is lit with the Divine Spiritual Light. I was a great audience for them and also a great sponge to absorb all their gifts! We bloom when we are supposed to bloom. I believe that writings or poems are a co-creation with Spiritual Light that we bring back to this reality and share. These poems are about love with a Capitol L that lives here all around us. These poems are inspired by that Love, by that Beauty that I see all around me, every moment. The feelings and words appear, and I write them down. Like I am doing this.
When you read the poems here, please engage your Spirit, your Higher Self, your feeling of being connected to all that is. Love.
